Hey, I’m Jason.

I have always had a genuine interest in other people’s lives and experiences. I am curious to discover new ideas, possibilities, and perspectives.

This natural inquisitiveness has led me to international travel, dream work, and yoga teacher’s training. These experiences have helped me to develop a way of deeply listening to others from all walks of life.

The feedback I have received is that people notice and respond positively to the presence I bring. Individuals I work with in therapy have commented on feeling safe and connected with me in a meaningful way.

Work with me

My Approach

People who may get the most out of their experience with me:

I bring a sense of curiosity to my work as we navigate your inner and outer worlds. My first goal is to form a secure bond with you so that I can become an anchor for our work together, so that you may feel safe to explore your own thoughts and feelings. My second goal is to help you to become your own anchor, empowering you to feel safe and grounded within yourself and the world around you.

In my counselling work, I take a Person-Centred approach as we put your needs and values at the centre of our therapy. I understand that we are complex beings, each with unique needs, and therefore an integrated psychotherapeutic approach is necessary. I may draw on Gestalt techniques, Internal Family Systems, dream and symbol work, and Narrative Therapy depending on your needs.

Those who want to feel genuinely cared for in a calm, open space, by a therapist who treats you as an individual with your own complex and meaningful story are welcome here. I will ensure that I support and advocate for your well-being. I am passionate about maintaining an unbiased, culturally-attuned environment of equality and welcome all to this space.

Other populations I connect with are those who are living with or interested in addressing:

·        Addiction

·        Anxiety and depression

·        Autism Spectrum Disorder, ADHD

·        Dream and symbol work

·        Men’s mental health

·        Self-esteem, confidence, personal development, identity

·        Life-stage transitions

Dream it

Don’t worry about sounding professional. Sound like you. There are over 1.5 billion websites out there, but your story is what’s going to separate this one from the rest.

Build it

Be clear, be confident and don’t overthink it. The beauty of your story is that it’s going to continue to evolve and your site can evolve with it. Your goal should be to make it feel right for right now. Later will take care of itself. It always does.
